Little Diomede Island. The village is named Diomede and I have the privilege, the million dollar job: I am Diomede’s next 7-12 math and science teacher.

‘Excited?’ No. That word doesn’t really work; here, this works  better: I’m kinda excited like the horsehead nebula is kinda big.

Yeah. Like that.

    Hello future Diomede teacher!

I’m quite exited that you found my blog and left a comment. We have all been waiting in eager anticipation to find out who will be joining us on this grand adventure next year. From this post I assume that you are one of the two luckiest teachers ever since you will be joining us on our paradise island. =) While Dio doesn’t look quite like your picture right now it is still breathtaking, particularly the midnight sunsets over Russia. If you have any questions about what to expect feel free to email jgrant@dio.bssd.org or post on my blog.
